Moldova? Anyway, I posted this to get to know what the opinions are TA on the current state of mexico. I don't Mexico is a failed state, considering I came back from there well and alive in resort towns in the Yucatan and Mexico city. But there so much paranoia by fellow America tourist about what regions to visit and where to avoid. Its sad, Mexico so much potential, large landmass, resources, historic sites dating to the neolithic, many factories etc. But I think the drug war is going to get worse, and the US might intervene.

USA need not intervene. Mexico needs special police and military to solve, but apparently doesn't want or not doing it...

I agree, need a police reform, "failed" state refers to the government losing control (not its economy).

Mexico is a libertarian paradise. The government has minimal control. All you need is to not be a loser and you can control your own gang/business. The locals can also be used for very cheap service collecting avocados and bananas.

i live there and where I live in a secure city, Cancun have became dangerous but san miguelde allende is a drug paradise although we are good

Juarez or Tijuana are good cities, I love tacos and burritos, and also is a cheap place, I also like Reynosa and Mexicali

Mexican avocados are controlled by Cartels and use Extortion practices for their business. It is stepped in blood and I ain't buying any of that stuff.

Dude you don't get it. The only parts of Africa worth bothering with are Botswana and maybe Gabon. In Botswana, they like foreign investment as long as it isn't Chinese because they are commies. They are richer than India.

Rwanda is way much a better country than Gabon. Botswanna seems ok.
