Summary:

• 85% of the worse nations to be a Christian are Islamic;
• In East Asia Communist and post-Communist states are more likely to persecute Christians (North Korea leads the ranking);
• A Christian is more likely to be persecuted in Turkey (secular state) than in Morocco, Tunisia, Qatar or Palestine (non-secular states);
• Mexico and Colombia are in the ranking due to church leaders being threatened, harassed, extorted and even murdered as a result of the violence perpetrated by guerrillas or other criminal groups;
• Russia is also included in the ranking due to persecution of ethnic Russians in Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia;
• No European nation is on the ranking, including the only three where Islam is the religion of the majority (Kosovo, Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina).

"It is the indigenous Christians who converted from Islam and live in Muslim-majority regions that bear the brunt of persecution—from both family/friends and the local community. In some areas, these believers must keep their faith secret for fear of being executed."

"On February 18, 2018, an Islamic militant attacked a Russian Orthodox group in Kizlyar, Dagestan. Five female Christians were killed while another five were injured. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement, but the statement provided no evidence to support the claim.

On May 20, 2018, Islamic militants attacked the Russian Orthodox Archangel Michael Church in Grozny, Chechnya, killing one believer. The church’s priest, Father Sergiy, said churchgoers heard shots outside and chants of “Allahu Akbar” meaning “Allah is greatest.”

You have to bare in mind that the report is based on the natives perspective. I really doubt too that Turkey is unsafe for a Christian to visit or work as an expat (as most of the countries you mentioned) but if you happen to be a native that converts from Islam to Christianity in one of these countries you mentioned, that's a completely different story.
