Sicilians are in some way proud of their ancestors.. including the moors.. but spanish people don't like at all their moor ancestors.. Why ?

1st. Are you stating a lie within a question maybe? I got nothing against a second of our spanish history, but ancestors?
2nd It's true that we don't love moors to the bone. Perhaps due to over 1200 years war?
