I am watching the Australian serie Mr. Inbetween and I have noticed this. Remembering another Australian series and movies I think this is the typical architecture there, sucks

1st three pics are of 19th cottages. These were usually reserved for workers, rather than the wealthy.

Bottom pic is of a commission house eg., government housing for the poor.

The examples you have chosen are not typical.

Yeah, we have similar worker housing from the late 1800s and early 1900s but its hardly typical. The last house is a very simple version of the Craftsman style

I've noticed this too from watching their television shows on Netflix (weight loss shows, amazing homes, private hotel, one about buying houses). I remember thinking that their homes were very bland looking compared to American homes and these were supposed to be the higher end stuff.
    Compared to the US:
Australia prison colony first, and then it got a lot of common folk for immigrants. It didn't appeal to people with aristocratic tastes like WASP upper classes, neo-classical leaders such as Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton, or Southern plantation owners.

It also doesn't have any influences from other European cultures that have good architectural traditions. Unlike the US, which has Spanish, French, and Dutch Colonial influences.

Even if I dont care if are from the century 19th, that is just not true, these houses are infinitely more modern.

And according what I am seeing in any Australian whatever program in tv, they seem quite average.

Old and New Spanish houses look nicer tbh. In fact, many western european houses look far better. Even old ones

What you posted was atypical. Not average. Stupid thread really.
