It depends on where you are, like anywhere. These are the sort of houses where I last lived (all more or less the same suburb)
    Spoiler!

Unfortunately many of these beautiful old Victorian/Edwardian homes are being knocked down by Chinese developers to build McMansions, it's incredibly depressing.

The same McMansion BS is happening were I live although most pre-1920s architecture is preserved these days. I've seen modest but nice homes from the 1920s and 1930s get knocked over for a McMansion. The original homes had the proper setbacks and scale while the McMansions take up the entire lot. We passed some ordinances recently to limited the size of new homes but it has to be fought tooth and nail. Greedy developers of course. Knocking down Victorian era architecture is even more egregious.

Apparently Australia has Craftsman bungalows, maybe not in large numbers.

    https://www.americanbungalow.com/aus...d-new-zealand/

"Another seminal moment occurred in 1911 when Australian architect James Peddle opened an office in Pasadena, Calif., and returned to Sydney in 1914, the same year as Walter Burley Griffin. The three years he spent in Southern California were enough to impress upon him the social changes being represented in architecture. Combined with the flow of journals, magazines, books and other informational material, the bungalow grew in its appeal. In 1916 a prefabricated bungalow from Southern California was imported as an exhibition house, furthering the promotion of the bungalow style."

This Australian example is a bit different than typical Craftsman style, seems to have an English cottage influence.

They're actually pretty common (just called California bungalows), especially in the area that I posted before, as it was largely settled as suburbs at that time. I lived in one there.
