ASI does not really exist in large numbers in Iranians. What makes Iranians differ from South Central Asians is not really just ASI (tho it is important) but having more Anatolian Neolithic farmer ancestry, indeed some East Iranics and South Central Asians have more Neolithic Iranian ancestry than modern Persians and Kurds (who have high Iran_chL, which is almost 50/50 Iran_N and Barcin_N). And unless you are talking about un-drifted Eurasians like Oase-1, no negrito-like people lived in Palaeolithic and Mesolithic Central Asia or Iran. Central Asia and the Iranian plateau (and nearby Caucasus) was the domain of Dzudzuana (72% Common West Eurasians/WHG like and 28% Basal Eurasian), Ancient North Eurasians (who mixed Dzudzuana to form Iran_N), Various Extinct ENA populations closer to Devil Gates than ASI/Oceania, and lastly West Siberian Hunter Gathers (Devil gates like ENA + EHG/ANE) like the Botai people who dominated the first Horse before being replaced by Steppe_EMBA.
