I noticed when I was a teenager that girls were into bullies I think that comes down to social status because among kids the bully is the dominant male on the playground

I think it's to do with those men being viewed as successful protectors/providers, which makes some women chase unavailable men. They are appealing especially if they are in successful relationships. I think it's just a primal urge but obviously morally wrong.
