No, the more civilized western states should be dominating the EU with the eastern and backward European states following them or they should be thrown out of the EU (the Treaty on the European union should be accordingly changed). The thrown out Eastern European nationalistic states could form a quazi proRussian backward alt right union if they want. Being backward doesn't equal being unique.

Refugees by definition are those people who run away from a war zone in first free country. In case of Syria it would be Turkey so everything further of that country we are getting here are economic migrants.
