Basically the most caucasoid (from Caucasus) and mongoloid regions are dumber, it seems logical.

It correlates a lot with this map:

Surprised by the good performance of Tatarstan. ¿How euro-mongoloid are volga tatars? I read that Marat Safin is tatar himself.

Anatoly Karlin made a map of the results of this study (https://www.unz.com/akarlin/map-russia-iq-2/):

If you're referring to the "EQ" (educational quotient) study by Grigoriev et al., where Tatarstan got a score of 104, it might be because the results of the study were based on a test taken by students at tertiary education institutions, and Tatarstan is home to Kazan Federal University, which is one of the highest-ranking universities of Russia. Similarly Tomsk Oblast got an EQ score of 108, but it might be because it's home to Tomsk State University, which ranked 4th highest in Russia in the 2020 QS world university rankings (https://www.universityrankings.ch/re...gion=&q=Russia).

However Tatarstan also ranked higher than the Russian average (99.5 vs 98.8) in this map of Russian regional PISA scores (https://sputnikipogrom.com/science/79791/russian-iq/):

Anatoly Karlin actually interpreted Finno-Ugric admixture to increase IQ both in the case of this study and in the case of regional PISA scores:

"In Sugonyev's data, it becomes even more distinct, with IQ rising in the areas of Finno-Ugric admixture, and falling as one goes south and east."

"True, ethnic mixing could also play a significant role here. As various studies over the past ten years have shown, northern Russians are actually Finnish-Slavic mestizos, and Finns (and ethnic Estonians) regularly receive the most outstanding PISA results among Caucasians. Also, many indicators of social "success" there are quite decent: corruption is at a very low level (one girl from Syktyvkar told me that Central Russia is a real swamp compared to its parts), they vote for liberals and not for communists. And do not even falsify election results!" (Google translation)

These "Russian mongs" are genetically quite different to Mongs from China, Japan, Korea.

I don't think the testers targeted specifically "Kubanoids". A half of the tested could easily be recent migrants.

    I was joking...
