Bulgarian was synonymous with Islam prior to San Stefano and Excharte in the 1870s then Russian established the Excharte to establish the Christian Bulgarian people, prior to that they were Bulgarian-Greek like under Constantinople's jurisdiction. Read a book.

You don't want to be Greek. Why? Greeks have very ancient civilization. Northern Greeks can have 40-50 steppe admixture as I know. I don't know if they score high baltid. But they can have very similar people. What about med admixture. Actually they are closer to Greeks and Balkan people than Anatolians.

I know some Greek members are going to be angry. But there is considerable Slavic influence in Greece too especially in Macedonia. Of course they are greeks nevertheless.
