It's only a speculation but I guess a Portuguese version of Australia would be much less mixed than Brazil, for sure. They probably would've mixed more with the Aboriginals than the British. However, the majority of the Australian population would be White of pure or near-pure Portuguese descent, with maybe a bit of Italian and Greek influence. Then quite a few Portuguese-Aboriginal admixed people. African influence would be insignificant compared to Brazil, but there are more Asians like Chinese and Indians instead.

"Australian Portuguese" would be closer to European Portuguese than Brazilian Portuguese.
