Anyone have experience using minoxidil on beard?

I read that a side effect of Minoxidil is that if you get it on the tops of your ears or forehead, you can grow hair there too. So I don't see why it would not grow new hair in beard area.

I actually have a bottle of the stuff, but never have used it idk why, i guess maybe because I always was concerned with negative health effects and also the lack of good results (minimal hair growth, falls out if you stop using it).

The thing is that you can have an underlying health problem undiagnosed and this drug can make it worse and become pretty dangerous (because it's a vasodilatator).

It's not aspirin.

Because it doesnt do anything to hormones afaik, its literally a drug that was used for blood pressure and stuff which never got approved and they noticed it grew hair and sold it as a anti balding product still not approved
