I'm very far away from the fires but every morning wake up to a smokey haze. It's sad what is happening especially to the biodiversity of the Australian country side. Australia has these bushfires constantly though - the emergency service people are doing a great job and coming from everywhere. Its good to see the govt allocate $2 billion to the reconstruction of the area..but the lost biodiversity and peoples homes is very sad.

It is the only thing that I consider bad. I don´t care about the houses of the australians, but just about the animals. Millions of years living there and some extreme fires (probably many of them provocated) exterminate them.
