This was supposed to be Iran's great retaliation against the US, but they ended up murdering well over a hundred civilians in a passenger jet, including many of their own peoples, while killing ZERO Americans(many of their missiles missing or not detonating)....

Irans greatest retaliation is not some 2 dozen missiles landing on a US base. The greatest victory is that Iran maintains its massive influence over the region while continue to grow as a military power while US power declines to the point that it no longer has any stake left in Middle east. Thats the greatest victory and it will come in 1-2 decades with demography and resultant political change in US. We saw glimpses of it under Obama.

the Iran Armed Forces are obviously severely underfunded and under equipped compared to the Americans(just compare their respective military spendings), so they got nervous and mistook a passenger jet for a US fighter jet..... deeply incompetent and a sad mistake....

Not sure how accurate it is, but a superficial glance at the Wikipedia article on the strikes would seem to say that 6-10 missiles hit Al-Asad base, 3 missiles fell in air, 1 was 20 miles off track, 1 missile didn't explode..........That would seem to be a horrific record unless I'm MISSING something.... hehe, see the pun there? no? ok........

The missiles which are supposed to have "failed in the air" are actually separating warheads types. They separate the tip warhead and the warhead hits the target while rest of the body detaches and falls on the ground.
