those that I saw built in this style of architecture (1920-1960) were mostly from the us and germany. I generally try to visit historic houses if they're available to public.

Some good examples of earlier modernism, Art Deco and Streamline Moderne. Those last three you posted are great Streamline Moderne buildings, most likely from the 30s or 40s. Very underrated style. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streamline_Moderne
