It doesnt give you a ancestry breakdown but only relationships and matches and haplogroup breakdown. I think only the Haplogroups are certain. I tested 3 times with 3 different companies and the Haplogroups are always the same, also we know about their origins. It is studied. The ancestry break down varies from company to company and from update to update greatly and minor ancestries appear or dissappear. It is imperfect. Also 23andme says Im northindian but ftdna says Im southindian. Or southcentralasian. 23andme says Im Pakistani and Northindian. So the ancestry breakdown varies greatly and you dont know who is right really. Also 23andme gives me 0.3% SSA but ftdna doesnt neither MyHeritage. But it is seperate in trace results and can easy dissappear. I had on 23andme 0.1% filipino and austronesian but it dissappeared suddenly. I think the haplogroups are well studied and phylogenetic human tree as well as the relationships, I mean relatives and matches etc. But the autosomal breakdown is not to be trusted literally. Mytrueancestry gives you a distance of populations and matches but not ancestry breakdown. I guess I could upgrade.
