There are towns in the United States that are for sale. I’m not kidding. You can buy a town. Some are abandoned some are not. It does sound weird that a town might be for sale, I get it. But, people have actually bought towns when they went up for sale. The actress Kim Basinger bought a small town in Georgia not to far from Atlanta in 1989. In 2018 the small town of Tiller, Oregon was sold for under 4 million dollars. So, this does happen. There are real estate agents that have listed these towns for sale.
