So, basically, the king due to his own greed for entertainment and profit got outwitted by the kid at the end due on the fact that the king has to say "I believe you" for any person that tells a fable regardless how outlandish and outrageous it is just to get the king to say "I don't believe you" and get half of the kingdom to themselves. You know, it's really good cartoons for kids to learns about important lessons in life and etc. Too bad cartoons aren't what they used to be today.

Creepy,strange, psychodelic? I guess you might have not watched Adventure Time yet. It is directed to children mostly, albeit not exclusively ...

I believe they were using some drugs while coming up with some of the ideas.
