LOL, millenials fall for health fads and falling for fads is low class. Anyway, Gen X (my generation) was the last adult generation when growing up was still kind of dangerous etc... now there are helicopter moms etc...

The younger generation is under much more stress than previous generations. It has been medically proven that stress causes all kinds of serious health problems - stress can kill.

I don't think so.
Befor WW II most of people die very young by modern standarts ( 30-40-50 years...)...
Also I am not even talking about earlier periods because period of human's life then was extremely short.

What??? Do you seriously suggesting living in modern urban environment with all infrastructure and facilities readily available is more stressful than living in a shack working hard labor and having constant threat of dying from hunger over you?
Back in the days stress was far more common and intense. At least for males. The difference is the old rural lifestyle also provided resolve for it - constant physical activity. Our bodies don't produce testosterone directly, they only produce estrogen. For men to stay healthy we need cortisol and adrenaline produced as result of stress in combination with endorphins produced as result of physical activity to turn estrogen into testosterone. So for men it's lack of activity that harm us most in urban lifestyle.
For women it's different. They can also relieve stress with physical activity but that will naturally increase their testosterone too effectively transforming their mentality into some weak semblance of males. That in turn will screw up their reproductive functions and may lead to various health problems later in life. In traditional society that problem was solved by keeping women sheltered from the outside world. They'd spent most of their time within their homes or limited community of close trusted individuals. So for women biggest health threat is exposure to big outer world.

That's because they are sheltered. We need stressful difficulties during childhood that we can overcome to learn how to achieve things. It should be as hard as possible without breaking the character. Brain is lazy by default, it needs negative stimulation to develop properly. Otherwise the end result is irreversible soyboy.
