I do too. I think the diversity of Lat. America is between regions and countries as opposed to within countries. For example, there is more diversity between the regions of the Caribbean and Central America than there is within those two regions (with some exceptions). There is more diverse between the Southern Cone and the NW corner of S. America than within.

The most genuinely diverse countries that I've personally seen, (that is to say that I've met enough people from these places that are all different from each other) are Brazil and Chile, with Mexico and PR getting silver medals. Brazil is king though. I've met all sorts of "Brazilians," including a Hungarian, Russian, Italian...and one guy with green eyes, wine red hair, tanned skin, and a strange face. Who knows what he was. lol

But I would like to point out some countries are more diverse than others. Countries like Argentina or Brazil have a more diverse range of looks than Bolivia, Dominican Republic or Guatemala, for example.
Depends on the country. Peruvians and Bolivians are very distinguishable from an average Brazilian triracial.

Latin american diverse on United States is restricted between Mexicans and Caribbeans. Basically mestizos/cholos (Mexicans, Guatemalans, Nicaraguans) vs mulattos/griffes (Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, etc)

Cubans seems to be the most diverse Latin American group on US

It's because they are fully Amerindian or Indo-Mestizos. Mestizos with small SSA like Mexicans can pass easily for Triracial Brazilians.

    Argentina is diverse?
Yep, but depends on the region, they lack blacks, but they have Iberians, Mestizos, Amerindians, Indo-Mestizos, Italians, Germans, Russians, even British and French people.

They are like a version of Brazil without blacks but with more Indo-Mestizos and Amerindians. Kinda like a mix of the white side of Brazil with Mexico.

Brazilians are not that diverse they are mostly 70% white with the rest a mix of black and amerindian. That's not diverse.

You haven't met enough Brazilians. Brazil is like the US. I've seriously met Brazilians of every race and combination imaginable, except for South Asian. It's crazy.

But the admixture is not homogeneously spread in the population, it's like doing an average of Texas or Florida and saying they are mostly a mix of white, amerindian and black. But not all individuals are in the same range or have the same European ancestry.

I've never met a Brazilian who looked "generic." I know they exist, but Brazilians always look either white or funny. The white ones almost always look Med but I don't consider Med generic Lat. American. Generic Lat. American is Mestizo - Triracial. Meds are a minority.
