Idk, it's highest frequency is supposed to be Georgia, but I would be surprised if the type does not also appear in cental Anatolia.

As far as I know it is similar or the same as Taurid. In fact I almost said Taurid. Rightly or wrongly, I think of Taurid as a Dinaro-Armenid intermediate, and Mtebid is similar to that but adds Alpine to the mix. I may be wrong but that's how I think of those types.
