I use both Ubuntu and win10. I am in the process of learning ubuntu, my long term goal is abandoning windows completely.
Btw you can still upgrade from win7 to win10 for free...
who the hell still uses win7 anyway?

Windows 8/10 is a scam, literally and openly. I was surprised that the US gov't would allow Microsoft to cut off support for 7, since that was what Fed gov't computers used... I find it hard to believe that the government is willing to use such an uncustomizable and ad-driven system.
I've been using Lubuntu and Win 7 but will probably be migrating to linux exclusively, even though it's not what it used to be.
Do Not allow yourselves to "get used to" Win 8/10!
