I don't know how many light people Lebanon got tbh but I can say 3 out of 10 people where I live in Turkey (North East) got blond hair, 4 out of them brown, and the rest dark brown. Especially blue eyes are pretty common. Considering Lebanon is in the very south of Turkey it wouldn't be wrong to say that Turks are indeed lighter. Comparing Turkey and Israel would make more sense.

Yeah I can agree with that. The tan Turks look more like Armenians, considering they're Anatolians it makes sense and the lighter ones especially in North Eastern Turkey have that Georgian-Northern Caucasus or Slavic look. There's also a big portion of Turks that can pass as Swedes.
