Armenia most optimistic country, Belarus most pessimistic
According to a study conducted by the Eurasian States in Transition (EAST Research Center) in countries participating in the EU Eastern Partnership initiative - Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova and Azerbaijan, it was found out that Armenia is the most optimistic country: 70% of the population believes in the country's bright future. Belarusians turned out to be the most pessimistic of the residents of the Eastern Partnership countries: 59% of Belarusians do not believe in the bright future of their country. The second place in terms of pessimism was taken by Ukrainians: 52% do not believe in the future of their country.
