    Default Quit smoking

I quit smoking, this is day two. I had to, that was an order from my doctor because my heart disease is getting worse.

Right now I feel so desperate I would smoke anything, any flower in the house. Horror!

Do you smoke? Did you quit? Do you have some tips and tricks?

Congrats for quitting. Can I ask you what kind of heart disease do you have?

I have high blood pressure and puls rate is around 135-140.

I have therapy for that. So no worry.

I smoked box and a half per day. I also quit because my friend said: No offense, but you're always smelly.

It was a good wake-up call.

Thanks for telling me. I asked because I also have a minor heart defect (arrhythmia).

Do you have therapy for that? Is it causing you problems?

Mine is not that serious, so luckily it never caused me any problems. I used to go to the cardiology when I was 9. My heart is just a little weaker than the average, and I can't do any sports seriously.

The serious cases can cause stroke and even sudden death.

    It's hard to stop smoking.

When I stopped this year I felt a sudden urge to compensate it with other vices like drinking. I think the best way to improve this is doing excercise.

Gym and cardio automatically make me feel incompatible with drinking since it really hinders my digestion. And ofc smoking is non beneficial for this.

Realizing how idiotic smoking is also helps. It doesn't even have any noticeable mental effect. The trash it generates is also a good incentive to stop it. Smokers tend to be inconsiderate and drop their shit cigarette butts everywhere. Around two thirds of the trash items in streets and beaches are cigarette remains.

    Smell is the worst!

I exercise a lot, actually. And for me the best feeling in the world is (WAS) to smoke a cigarette after good cardio or dance.
