It is synonymous with relative leg length and sitting height. On the population level, sitting height varies from 45 to 56 percent of standing height. The length of the legs often contributes more to height than trunk length itself. People with lower Relative trunk lenght have longer legs, so they could be hypotheticaly faster (remember Usain Bolt).
1-Brachyskelic: Sitting height 53 % of overall height and more. PHENOTYPES: Majority of mongoloid phenotypes.
2-Mesoskelic: Sitting height between 51 and 53 % of overall height. PHENOTYPES: Majority of caucasoids, majority of amerindians, some central-African phenotypes.
3-Macroskelic: Sitting height 49 % and less. PHENOTYPES: Majority of Sub-Saharan African phenotypes, all Australian phenotypes, Indian phenotypes, some nordids and mediterranids.
