Probably true, but one good thing I can say about Millennials is that they are a little more sophisticated and open-minded about food than previous generations, and it's certainly different down there now than it used to be...

Dude, New York is kind of like other places that are not hillbily and poor. My sister is rich and lives in Manhattan and has a view central park from her apartment. She only shops at whole foods and eats extremely healthy. I eat a gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, and nightshade free diet and my favorite food is Sashimi which is extremely healthy. In New York I can eat Thai food and Japanese food 24/7 if I wanted too. In New York you can get anything you want 24/7. You want a 14 year old Thai boy for sex at 3:30 in the morning on a weekday ? You can get it.

My point is that in CA, healthy food and restaurants are not just confined to urban centers like San Francisco or LA, you can find them in suburbs and rural areas. It's more mainstream.
