Even just ten years ago when I was just barely a teen I remember things were quite different. January was a month of perpetual snow and cold in my city. It was very unusual for there to not be at least a few inches of snow on the ground. But the last few years it seems it’s rather common for this to happen. It snows then melts quickly a few days later cause it’s too warm to sustain.
Plenty of days now where there’s very little or snow on the ground in deep winter these days.
We have also been getting a lot more rain and even occasionally thunderstorms in winter whereas such a thing was rare/impossible when I was small
And it’s only 10-15 years and I’m noticing these changes. So to me it feels like something is changing but I doubt it’s as disastrous as many people are predicting. Who knows for sure though
