Default Are Tydals/Paleo-Atlantids actually just slightly darker Faelids?

I have seen a lot of pictures on this site and i've noticed something interesting: Faelids and Tydals/Paleo-Atlantids look very much the same in many pictures. The difference is that Tydals/Paleo-Atlantids are slightly darker. Otherwise they basically look the same.

So the other day it struck me: If i remember correctly (which is why i made this thread), i think i've read somewhere that Lundman had a theory that Tydals were just a slightly darker version of Faelids. I can't see any difference between the Tydal examples and the Faelid ones atleast apart from Tydals being slightly darker.

So, from my perspective: Tydals/Paleo-Atlantids = Faelids.

Pretty much, the line between all of them and Strandid/Borreby are pretty thin.

I was classified by many people as Tydal/alpinized PaleoAtlantid/Strandid.

And I used this app to compare my pics vs. Carleton Coon's exampes.

    https://betaface.com/demo.html#page-header

And my closest match = lighthaired Borreby guys from Germany and Norway.

Yes, Paleo - Atlantid is a darker version of the Faelid, it might be slightly taller and even slightly heavier - boned. The Paleo - Atlantid in Norway or Iceland is the tallest racial type.

According to research, Faelid traits are not correlated with lighter features but only with geographic position. That means: Dalofaelids in Austria are darker pigmented than those in Sweden. Real Nordics, however, are just as blond in Austria as they are in Sweden.

Born out of mixing of phenotypes.

I got my father's very dark hair pigmentation, but my mothers West Baltid features are most apparent on my face. So I look like a dark CM, and dark CM is usually associated with Paleo Atlantid.

Yep, your facial features seem similar to a lot of white Americans who lean on the CM side.

I also think dark haired CM gives a distinct "North American" look, most CMs in Europe will usually be light/blonde haired.
