the Mediterranean type is a continuum from Portugal to India. just that in different regions gets mixed with other types. in Iberia it is both purely Mediterranean and mixed with CroMagnon UpperPaleolithic leftovers (it gives AtlantoMed). Dinaric/Taurid/Anatolid are brachy Meds as well. and it stretches North much more than considered on these fora. there's enough Meds in Poland, for example.

what's the Mediterranean % of Poles you estimate? including Dinarics. I was speaking broadly to explain to Cristiano what the Mediterranean belt means, it's not just what people consider on this forum, but also the brachycephalized Dinarics/Taurids, Indids, Iranics, Pontids are part of the Mediterranean belt. and Mediterranean looks penetrate north of the Alps in some measure, of course I am not saying Poles are Mediterranean... neither Slovaks, who obviously have more Dinaric and Med % than neighbours. he doesn't want the north African, Near Eastern, Middle Eastern and South Asian Meds to be called Meds

it is indeed the most widespread White type by far, maybe even most widespread human look. the Mediterranean belt has the best weather for crops, seas, large rivers.. good conditions for life. the North has always struggled with life conditions (weather, food resources)
