Let's be realistic here. US had everything that was needed to destroy Nazi Germany but it would've taken them a few years and cost a lot of resources and lives. The main reason for delay was intention to exhaust the Old World, especially Britain, so they could establish their own financial dominance over world's economy. Since opportunity to achieve that goal at expense of other power presented itself they used that opportunity to its full potential.

During World War II, Major George Racey Jordan was a Lend Lease control officer in the U.S. Army, and he was assigned to control the shipment of war materials to the Soviet Union. While so engaged, he observed a number of “unusual” activities. He began to record what he saw in a diary, which was published in 1952 as From Major Jordan’s Diaries.
The YouTube video in this post contains a recording of a speech given by Jordan in 1963; the video lasts for 52 minutes, and Jordan's speech begins at 5:42. Among other things, Jordan states that
• Uranium was shipped to the Soviets in 100-lb boxes (@ 22:02)
• approximately 32,000 aircraft were given to the Soviets during the war (@ 16:43)
• many U.S. patents were sold to the Soviets (@ 18:08)
• U.S. Treasury plates for the printing of occupation currency were given to the Soviets (@ 24:01)
• In 1942, Order L-208 was issued by Harry Dexter White, under which all U.S. gold mines were forced to close.

собственно об этого завода все счастья и вся беда города, завод этот помогали проектировать тогда Американцы хотя официально это теперь не признается, но металлургический комбинат похоже является увеличены копии комбината US Steel в Индиане
this plant is all the happiness and all the trouble of the city, the Americans helped to design this plant then, although it is not officially recognized now, but the metallurgical plant seems to be increased copies of the US Steel plant in Indiana
LONG LIVE SOVIET - USA friendship

dude...russia had a non combat pact with japan for the entire war and refused to assist he allies fighting on two fronts on opposite sides of the world.
russia and the nazis were allies and gang raped poland together. this lasted until hitler stabbed stalin in the back..no honor among thieves
russia stopped even stopped their advance to let the nazis further rape poland and the balkans so they would be easier to pacify later.
the bottom line is that russia would have been steam rolled by the nazis if it werent for the western allies..even stalin himself admitted this.
so i guess the real question is: why are you so insecure and bitter about the USA?

There are all kinds of wars - hot, cold, global, local, economic, financial, under the foreign flag, with foreign hands ... But the most insidious is the war against history, truth and memory. This war never ends. It poisons the public consciousness, corrodes it and corrupts it. Turns it into fir. Knowledge is bad, ignorance is good, facts don't matter who will read the thick books to you. Defeats are immeasurable, deep, strategic. For generations to come. Generations of memoryless, literal, illiterate.
World War II (WWII) ended 75 years ago. For 75 years, the "civilized" West has been "working" hard. What exactly "works"? Replaces history. Publishing houses. Have a good time. Do it with Dr. Mengele's elegant sadism
Since 1945, the French Institute for Public Opinion Research (IFOP) has been asking the same question periodically: "Which nation / country contributed most to the victory over Nazi Germany?" Then, after the end of WWII, the French replied: USSR - 57%, US - 20%, UK - 12%, the three countries - 2%.
After 60 years, in 2015, the answers were quite different: USSR - 23%, US - 58%, UK - 18%, the three countries - 5%.
Again in 2015, the British sociological agency YouGov conducted a survey with the same question in 8 countries - the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. According to Americans, the undisputed winner is themselves - 55%. That's what half the French think, 37% of Germans, over 1/3 of Danes, Swedes and Finns, 1/4 of Norwegians. The exception is the UK - the main credit (50%) is for the British, who "grant" the US only 14% (in 2018 - 9%). Between 11 and 17% are allocated to the USSR, the Germans and the Finns are more generous - about 1/4 acknowledge the Red Army's contribution. The 2018 YouGov survey is not much different. And most strikingly, between 25 and 30% of the citizens of these 8 countries respond "I don't know"! The goal has been achieved.
Today, 75 years after the war, 90% of the French are absolutely convinced that the United States is the victors and liberators of Europe: "Thank God the Americans came and freed us from fascism! And has Russia suffered much in the war? You will hear this in France today.
And this you will hear in Italy: "What Victory Day is celebrated by the Russians ?! The Americans have won! What kind of Russia ?! "
And what will you hear in the US?
Here's the thing: "The US won, the USSR only helped our army" (so does Donald Trump), "The US Army first entered Berlin", "We Americans saved Russia from Hitler", "Not the USSR, but the Allies defeated Hitler" “…
And who are the allies? Here are the ones: "USA, England, Poland, Netherlands, maybe Russia" ... And more? "Belgium, France, Canada, Austria, probably Australia, Italy, I'm not sure about the USSR" ...
And who lost the war? Here it is: "Russia lost, Japan lost, Germany lost" ...
Still, who is the aggressor? Here's who: The USSR first hit Hitler! Stalin drops nuclear bombs on Japan! Well yes! The World War II for Kids encyclopedia reads: “August 8 - Russia declares war on Japan; August 9 - Nuclear bomb drops (!) Over Nagasaki. " Whose atomic bomb did it drop so carelessly, inadvertently, obviously? And how did it fall? And
who throws the atomic bombs?
Russia, of course. Every American kid knows it. The Encyclopedia has two prefaces - by Bill Clinton and John McCain. There are also exercises. For example, how to save oil to understand what deprivation Americans have experienced. Tell some Leningrad blocker how to save oil! If one reads the American newspapers, one will be left with the impression (the word "impression" must remain!) That 16 million Americans have died in the war. It follows that no American soldier has returned.
But there is one dramatic question: how did the USSR strike Hitler and liberate Europe? According to the media, the reasons for this great misfortune are two: winter and short-sighted German generals (who, remember, gave good and right advice to Hitler, but he did not listen).
This is the case in the USA and in Western Europe. And in the East? In the East, they are strikingly remaking the story. To keep up with the times. To fit into the fashionable ideological menstruum that is a little behind. Arrange on the right side. To be de-Russified, desecrated and decommissioned, so that they can be civilized at last! 30 years ago, the question "Who are the United States fighting at the WWII?" American students answered with a confident, "Against the USSR!" We laughed. They still answer that way.
Today, our students answer the question "Who is fighting against Russia in the Air Force?": "Against the United States!" We no longer laugh. They will answer like this tomorrow. This is the result of a 30-year conspiracy against history. Two memorable generations. 30 high school graduates! They know nothing. Fascism, anti-fascism, resistance… They don't know. They don't have to know.
If you think the war is over in 1945, you have many congratulations from The Financial Times! "World War II ended only when the Soviet Union ceased to exist." Point. To thank for this American-style revelation typical of some saloon in the Wild West: "Die, crawl, obey! If not - I will eat you! ”This is the purpose and mission of the" civilized "West for the last 75 years. Namely, the USSR should be gone.
But that is not enough! Not at all!
"Finally we came to the most fragile bit - Russia. The main jackpot is at stake - the whole country! "Exclaimed the Soros gambler in 1992, just after the collapse of the USSR.
"I prefer to have chaos and civil war in Russia over its unification in a single, strong state," Kissinger added in 1995.
"The new world order for US hegemony is being created against Russia, at the expense of Russia and the ruins of Russia. Russia will also be crushed under guardianship. Russia is a superfluous country, "Brzezinski ruled in 1997.
"Russia should be divided into 4, 7, 26, 45 or 52 states and states," provided Harvard, Houston and other projects.
In general: Russia is expected and required to lie down and lie down.
To which Russia kindly replies: Kukish!
World casino bets continue. Aman from people who don't know the story!

Don't lie. It is well-known fact American engineers and workers were building factories in USSR during 1930's. Just because you don't know about it only means you're rather ignorant about history of USSR.
However presenting this American participation in Soviet industrialization as some sort of war assistance would be a mistake. It happened years before the war and it is not clear who benefited from it more. Because at the time US industry was effectively banned from world trade by Bank of England and was desperate for any external markets. USSR provided this market, all products and services were paid for and that allowed US industry to overcome severe crisis of 1930's with fewer losses.
