Why is it somewhat common for mulattos to have hazel/green eyes while rare for mestizos/castizos?

well ive been around african americans in california and georgia and never have i seen a red head African American, they probably exist but are extremely rare

but I can bet you anything that I can easily find very Amerindian looking people with true red hair than youll be able to find me New World blacks of very black phenotypes with such trait

I am mestizo, I have dark eyes and fairly light skin. The funny thing is that my parents do have hazel eyes.

Thats maybe why you see less mestizos with light eyes because you dont identify them as mestizos when they do. For example woman nr 2 in the picture i posted above if you see them in the streets maybe you dont identify her as mestiza,
