Why is it somewhat common for mulattos to have hazel/green eyes while rare for mestizos/castizos?

But what I think is that in many cases a person with SSA AND NATIVE (both) can look more extra-euro than what they are.
But also could happen the opposite, like your case , apart that you hasn't got any visible native american.
But happens many times that normally mixed individual of pure colonial stock look less Euro than who have recent Euro ancestry.
Even though It's not a rule either.

This can be just so random, sometimes people of recent european heritage end up looking even more mixed than people of colonial stock and vice versa. In this cases i think it boils down to 2 things mainly, chance and the way the non european heritage combines with the european phenotype that the person inherits, but it really is pretty much all up to "luck".

I really like the example of that woman, she is one of the closes results I've seen to mine, we have the same SSA %, i am more nstive than her by like 5% and she's more euro than me by like 10%, but still so close, always nice to see.
