Apparently you didn't understand that Venetians in Brazil are totally different from other Italian-Americans in general. They are an exception. They are even seen as backwards and weird by other Italian-Americans for that. Most Italian-Americans don't speak or care about Italy. But Venetian-Brazilians still speak Venetian, only eat Venetian food, live in the same conditions as a Venetian person from the 20th century, etc. It's a very interesting and rare phenomenon worldwide. I don't blame you because few people know about them.
