I would still consider that family member white. Olive tone is found all over Europe. It is more to do with specific features. Such as, nappy hair, dark olive without tan, dark eyes, jet black hair and brown to black eyes.

That isn't always indicative though. For instance one Syrian girl that practically looked Russian came up mostly levantine in her test. Your phenotype can differ from the sum of your genetic makeup. If you're referring to literal "white" then yea it would only be northern Europe. However, the term is used to refer to most if not all Europeans. More specifically "Caucasian".

The girl was on Youtube? The one I saw didn't look Russian, she was very light but people said her features were either Jewish or Middle Eastern. Perhaps that was a different person.
