In Guatemala what would locals think he is from?
Hmm I see. To me, he gives me a very NE Asian/Siberian-shifted impression to the point that I can easily see him passing in Northern China, Tibet/Himalayan Plateau maybe even Mongolia.
Do Navajo and other Na-Dene look very Asiatic/Siberian compared to other Amerindians like the OP?
Would Navajo/Na-Dene in general be mistaken as "Chino" or Asian in Latin America?

Maybe as Hapa or half East Asian but definitely not full blooded. And yes I also think she looks more Central Asian than East Asian.
Is she a Balanced or Indomestiza? She might be mistaken as Uyghur or other minorities from Xinjiang if she visits China.
I think she could blend in among Turkic-type Afghans like Hazara, Uzbek in Afghanistan or in parts of Central Asia like Uzbekistan, parts of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan if she doesn't show or display her Latin American demeanor.
Maybe make a guessing thread about her and ask if she can pass in Central Asia (but don't tell that she is Mexican, ppl might give biased replies because of that alone).

He would probably puzzle the locals, perhaps some may initially think he's either another Guatemalan from some other town or an American tourist.
I doubt he would be seen as Asian/Chinese. Although the the Na-Dene have somewhat of a Japanese look to them imo, from the ones I've seen irl, just really tall and dark. Then again, people have mistaken some of my family members for Japanese or other Asians and Pacific islander
Some Navajos/US Natives though, can kind of blend in among Guatemalans. They would just need the right clothing.
