Thread: R & J Haplogroup Founders of Religions

    I’m not sure about haplogroups and what role haplogroups played in foundation of Abrahamic religions but I think that climate and living conditions played a very big role.

    Anyone who will be living in the desert for a long time under the scorching sun he may become a visionary, he will start to see things, hear voices, hallucinate and rave, produce fantasies and visions and so on and so forth regardless of his haplogroups. After all it was not for nothing that there was such a thing as hermitism - holy hermits voluntarily went into the sultry deserts for direct communication with God and the like.

    Yes, but certain haplogroups were involved in the formulation and dissemination of corresponding religions.

    Sure but I tend to think that these haplogroups just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
