Bat soup was a meme (and a damn good insult - "have some bat soup !" is pretty much the 2020 version of "get fucked !") but nothing more than that. The picture didn't even come from China but from some distant island in the Pacific and was spread by the American media in order to make us the look the other way.

Let's be honest, there is no difference between dog/cat or cow/pig eating. All of it is cruel. Aren't little piglets cute too? Why don't you mind having them slaughtered?

It it was up to me, killing animals for food would be banned everywhere. We just need to develop sufficient supplement for meat.

Some animals are ok for human consumption, some just simply aren't. You can't possibly tell me a giraffe is on the same level as a chicken, in terms of consumption.

The poor ratio only count serious cases. There is a limit to daily tests. Has been widely reported this week in the UK as a big issue with nurses and doctors not even getting tests.

I see France is counting all it's deaths now I guess(doubt most countries are reporting all theirs). I'd expect the UK to be in the 1000s next week also.

In my region is 14.5 million, we have basic lockdown 2 weeks now. The government is giving their daily conference and they are saying we might see 80000 more cases and 3000-15000 more deaths. The fear mongering they also said if we didn't start 2 weeks ago basic lockdown can be likely 100000 deaths

The actual cases of deaths outside the West may be MUCH higher than what is noted down as those don't stick to the adage "to measure is to know". The same, applies, to an extent to Western countries as we don't test everybody - and let's not forget America were healthcare is not available to large sections of the population and neither is testing (in that respect: it's a Third World country) - so the actual death rates in America may also be much higher. Same goes for China.

I went out this morning, streets are packed with cars and people outside. Most people self isolated for 3 weeks and very nice day today but virus still around? How much more these politicians/liars want?
