B******* again. America now is the country with the single most number of cases. And the EU isn't a country.

Let's not forget China, the country where the virus first emerged, and where the communist coverup may well have gotten the virus off to a good start.

For I don't know how many days, the total number of cases in China has remained in the low 80's, almost as if there haven't been any new cases at all. Quite suspicious.

Has China beaten the virus? I won't believe it, unless an objective, third-party news source says so (no news source from the Chinese state, and not from (most of) the mainstream American news media). For all I actually know, China could still be in first place, the CCP could just be covering it up.

But all that said. Healthcare can't really do much for prevention. That's much more of an issue of personal responsibility, hygiene and stuff like thatt - if some reckless idiot who happens to be infected decides to not take any measures, there's not much what a healthcare system can do regarding the spread. All and all, your post is more of a manifest of a US educational system, regarding working with the data, than it is of our healthcare one.

Even if we break out EU member states and compare them to the USA the EU member states have a higher death rate. This is, yet again, another indication of the 3rd world status and total FAILURE of the healthcare system in the eu.

More people are infected in the US yet there are less deaths in the US...by any measure this shows you how superior US healthcare is to the eu.

At the beginning of epidemic .... higher numbers of infected people don't mean = higher number of death people. Immediately anyway.
Today can only be said that your fast growing numbers of cases don't promise very good ... as well as policy of your country (what comes to corona).

Even old people; those who have ended to intensive care and finally died (in Europe) ... that has not happened like snapping fingers.
Epidemic started Europe earlier/first. People have been sick here longer time. That is the main reason why there are ALREADY more death people in Europe. Time will tell is it so after coming weeks and months.

The virus can only be supressed to a trickle. Realistically 3000 Chinese get it daily, probably only 80 of those serious enough to be tested. There's also a huge problem with Chinese testing kits, the Czech Republic has made a statement how unreliable they were (30% accuracy).

The only way to get through this Covid-19 crisis is by having the majority of the earth's inhabitants get sick with it. This is called herd immunity.

Otherwise we can keep waiting for a vaccine that will take an estimated 18 months if lucky.

There are lots of virus in animals (which humans are not familiar). We should ''kill'' almost all other animals.
