Yes, there are some people who think it is fake or greatly exaggerated as a medical issue, and just a smoke screen for other aims & agendas - like imposing greater control. Makes no sense, but then there are still some people believing that we have never stepped on the moon.

Global deaths from covid-19 are on the wane. Most countries and states are starting to remove lockdown restrictions. And now we're starting to see medical claims that the SARS2 virus is losing potency. Is the covid-19 pandemic finally over? Not quite, cautions Chris. Yes, there are encouraging signs that fatalities are slowing, but there are still a lot of unknowns to address before we breathe a sigh of relief. The fact that lockdowns are ending at the same time thousands are coming into close quarters at protests will tell us in just a few weeks how worried we'll need to be about a resurgence in infections. Meanwhile, lots of uncertainty continues to swirl around chronic questions like 'Is HCQ helpful or harmful?" and 'Does covid-19 have lab origins?'. With each day it seems there's a new wrinkle released that keeps the skeptics and the believers at odds with each other. Last, the societal trauma and the resulting inequality the official "rescue" efforts are creating are manifesting in the growing social unrest underlying the recent outbreak of protests and riots across the country. We need to keep our eyes on the true villains in this story -- primary among them the Federal Reserve -- rather than fighting each other.

I will try to describe what happened with my mother, as I'd said before, she had got in the hospital being initially diagnosed with diabetes attack, she has diabetes, but at same time she was under covid-19 suspicion, so 2 days later she got confirmed to covid-19 (day of my post about her here).
Soon it was discovered she was under a pretty serious condition, her treatment was made initially by ceftriaxone, azithromycin, piperacillin, hydroxichloroquine, etc. She was breathing very badly for these 2-3 days then doctors decided to put her on respirator machine. At this moment she is under sedation and incubation, so she is sleeping deeply while doctors are treating her, today hcq was suspended cause her heart didn't receive well that drug, she got cardiac arrhythmia for a while, but she got ok after some hours, now it is her 2nd day incubated. I really hope she can leave soon, but it seems the main issue is in her lungs, I received info she got impaired 50% of her lungs already, but doctors said me today it has stopped to advance, even tho she will be kept on the respirator machine. Also, I was talking with some people I know of (actually I don't know them, I just meet them near to the hospital) who has relatives in the same hospital and they were about that same situation, so I can say their relatives were on average 2 weeks incubated as far as I know, some have got better quickly like 2-3 days, other more like 30 days or so. So I am hopeful.

See here for full write-up and explanation: https://unherd.com/2020/06/karl-frist... See here to subscribe to UnHerd: https://unherd.com/register-login/?si... Professor Karl Friston is a computer modelling expert, world-renowned for his contributions to neuroscience. He has been applying his "dynamic causal modelling" approach to the Covid-19 pandemic, and has reached some startling results.
- The differences between countries are not primarily down to government actions, but due to 'intrinsic' differences in the populations
- We don't yet fully understand what is driving it, although there are theories ranging from levels of vitamin D to genetic differences
- In each country, there appears to be a portion of the population that is 'not even in the game' - that is, not susceptible to Covid-19. This varies hugely between countries
- In the UK, Professor Friston estimates that portion to be at least 50%, and probably more like 80%
- The similar mortality results between Sweden (no lockdown) and the UK (lockdown) are best explained by the fact that in reality there was no difference
- the impact of the legal lockdown in Professor Friston's models "literally goes away".

Now that we’ve all gotten used to face masks, are we ready to make the switch to shields? A recently published article in The Journal of the American Medical Association, argued that a face shield could better help reduce the transmission of the coronavirus. So what's the final world? Vindication! That Lancet published study vilifying HCQ that Chris has debunked point by point over the past few videos? It's just been retracted. Turns out, it was exactly the "garbage science" Chris said it was. Score a big victory for fans of truth. But it shouldn't have to be this way...our scientists should be rigorous and honest. We need that more than ever right now. But instead, we're getting shoddy results at best, and compromised conclusions influenced by politics and money at worst. Too much damage is being done right now -- to our faith in the institutions that govern our society, to social equity, to public health and security. As we've been warning, long after the virus subsides, it's going to take years -- possibly decades -- to recover from the wounds covid-19 has inflicted.
