The situation in China seems to be getting worse.

В Китае вводится смертная казнь за целый ряд преступлений, связанных с возникшей эпидемией. К смертной казни могут приговаривать людей, покинувших карантинные зоны, намеренно заражающих других людей, включая врачей (вплоть за плевок в лицо или повреждение защитного костюма или маски. Кроме того, смертной казни могут быть подвергнуты чиновники, не исполняющие или злоупотреблящие своими должностными полномочиями в вопросах борьбы с эпидемией.

Нужно добавить, что в общей сложности около полумиллиарда человек уже находятся в карантинных зонах и так или иначе, но ограничены в своих правах или перемещениях.

По сути, речь идет о военном положении, которое формально не объявлено, но фактически уже введено. На успешную борьбу с вирусом пока это похоже мало, скорее, наоборот. Обстановка явно не улучшается.

Division is a videogame but im referring to Tom Clancey's novel where virus has collapsed governments - people take the streets loot and kill.
