    En realidad se te entendió perfectamente.
    Es que a veces ocurre eso cuando queremos comparar a una población bastante heterogénea y diversa como la costarricense con una que para estándares hispanoamericanos es homogénea como la salvadoreña (y tal vez es el único caso junto con Paraguay entre los hispanos).
    Y más se complica la comparación del tema por el hecho de que México es super diverso y se está tratando de identificar entre dos homogéneos en este caso.
    El tema es interesante en si, pero bastante complejo de descifrar.

    Estuve aquí hablando con un compañero de trabajo que es mexicano (él es del DF según me dijo). En fín que le mencioné la palabra chilango y cortó la conversación diciendo "a lo mejor los del norte". ¿Es despectivo esa palabra? Porque sino la regué LMAO. Creo que luce criollo pero tiene el pelo como medio curly. Al principio hasta asumí que era árabe.

    lol well when mexicans say chilango, its more in a derogatory way
    they call themselves Defeño though, not chilango
    those who call themselves chilango who come from there are either hipsters reclaiming the word and think they some woke idiots, or people who have recent roots from another state or from another country
    Lupita Nyong'o called herself a chilanga so that term fits her since her roots are from Kenya
    buuuuuut if a Mexican from Jalisco called her a chilanga, it would be more of a derogatory

    while in Jalisco it is 8,256,100
