The very first sentence in that article: "We're going through a process of mutual adaptation, of convergence. We have cohabited for hundreds of years but only now we're starting to self-regulate(?)" - Ian Feldman, head of the Council for prevention and elimination of discrimination.
What I take from this first sentence and other parts of this article is poor knowledge of romanian/moldavian (whatever you want to call it) or just poor understanding of the meaning of certain words. The head of this "very important" council is a jew. The author of the youtube video is russian speaking and more than half of the participants do not speak the language of their birth country. That's moldovan multiculturalism in a nutshell - a few mixed individuals, overwhelmingly not moldovan, have gathered to teach the rest what a moldovan is.

Wel,l this is a multiculturalist leftist propaganda, nothing new here. I just posted this here to show why I evit many times to post people from big urban centers, and why I don't agree with some geneticall results of people from here labeled as "Moldavians". Plus, as you can see, many of people with such background are Russian speakers, because they are the product of Tsarist Russia/Soviet past here.

Agreed. I simply want to add that their choice of language is logical and not exclusive to the former SU. Minorities will adopt the language of the state that sponsored their settlement. The state allows minorities into an area to gain a loyal base. The state and minorities are natural allies against the dominant ethnic group.
