True. So that's why he cannot be Mediterranean. His features are too light overall. And if he is Med, then actual Meds from Southern Europe must be Orientalid or something.

Sometimes people broaden Med so much where they include pseudo Nordic (or Atlantid) types and as well as coarse looking Arabs in the Med category.

Kipchaks were always described as Mongoloid. The Blonde haired Blue eyed people Chinese described are Tocharians, not Kipchaks. There is another Turkic people Chinese described as having Red Hair and Blue Eyes. They were Yenisei Kyrgyz (not much related to modern Kygyz).

The blonde haired blue eyed Turks were Cumans, who were described with such traits by Arabs and Europeans, not Chinese. As far as we know Chinese sources do not mention Cumans at all.
