will people see me as american?

okay. usa has many accents and i think my accent will fit to one of those usa accent. if not, i think people will consider me as american if i say i am american but i were born and were raised in caucasus.

In America there is no standard English and standard accent of it, there are dozens of different accents in different regions. I remember how two Armenian girls told about how they traveled around America by car and once a policeman stopped them and after heard their accent he just made an assumption that they were just from some other American state.
