Which do you prefer: guinea pigs or rabbits?

Both are cool, the probelm though, is that I'm afraid of owining small pets though as I have this fear that they'll eventually get crushed or eaten.

I know that they have better survival instincts than I do, but I can't relax if I'm not aware of their location 100% of the time, a lot like my girlfriends really, but the latter aren't smart enough to escape their cages.
