In Brazil as Ouroboros said is 10/15%.
So... Idk if the same but very similar both.
But of course in Argentina practically all the extra is amerindian while in Brazil is pred SSA.
Makes me think Argentina without euro immigration would be less Euro than Mexico. Despite how white Argentina is you have interior regions such as Salta and Juju as amerindian as Oaxaca Puebla Campeche etc

    But makes totally sense.
In colonial times the Nueva España was the most important vice-royalty while the Río de la Plata was practically a bordering territory.
So the crown sended far more people to Nueva España than to Río de la Plata.
Even though the last was less populated about amerindians.
Of course when Argentina was founded population was probably mestiza/harniza in the central region on average with some territories inner the country with an important % of amerindians and indomestizos (the extreme northwest).

Rio de Janeiro Central streets. Despite the strong african contribution to Rio, because of white brazilians, the city seems lighter than Mexico City.

Lets be honest, even in this nice Mexico City neighborhood, whites are still very uncommon and these mestizos look brown.

    Tamales are 100% mexicans.
    Nobody deny that hehe.
Indeed only a beast could argue that they aren't
The word comes from the náhuatl.

    Only mexican restaurants.
And most owners of them are mexicans.
There is one called "La Fábrica del Taco".
The owner is from Puebla I think.
    I love that place.
