    Russian, French, Spanish languages are "lingua franca", so in that countries english not so popular than in others

    No, most people in Argentina dont speak Inglish.
    To be fluent in english you have to pay extra money in courses, and not every body has the time and money to have that formation.
    high school courses and video games don't do shit for you.

    Funny thread at these very minutes where UK is having Brexit. We can presume that over the next years, there will be a resistance against English domination.

    Last week, Merkel was in Turkey for the opening ceremony of a German language Turkish-German University in Istanbul.
    French are traditionally always aggressive against English, French is lingua franca of Catholic world.

    Yet English has a strong domination. It is here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future. It is language of global business, innovation and technology. And this state of things won't change any time soon.

    Of course to know any foreign language and especially English is always a bonus, but strictly speaking in countries like Russia, Armenia or Ukraine you need not to know English for your everyday life.
