"Grandfather rule" seems like a pretty touching thing. But in fact this leading to showdowns and disqualifications like it was with Spain and Romania before WC 2019 and with Russia earlier. Rugby results must show the level of development of this sport in the country, but not some history/bloodline relations. Thats why i am not very interested in our football team with Fernandez and "russian germans" that grown up outside the Russia, while talanted "afrorussian" like Bryan Idovy, that was born and raised here but he had no chances to join the team and played for Nigeria while he have nothing common with that country except the bloodline.

Bloodline is the most important thing of all.
You can not complain about there are foreigners in the Spanish team if you dont know if they were raised here. Well, at 99% that they were not but even so many or at least a few of them have developed their careers in the Spanish league, so that argument could be equally valid.

Yes I hate the concept of 'project/residency players'. It is both lazy and thieving. In the Wales team that played yesterday there were two Kiwis who only qualified due to living in Wales for three years.

5 tries so we get the offensive bonus. But we took 3 tries. Italians plays well but normally we should have control more the game.
