I know that DNA inheritance is quite random but usually people don't receive more than either of their parents have.

Well, I match with my father slightly more than my mother, though it probably doesn't have an effect, since it's so close (3,515.5 cM vs 3,508.3 cM).
So, I guess that simply boils down to inheritance and the explanation is that I inherited all of their East Asian/Siberian-like segments.
Also worth noting that I usually share my results that are run from the old 23andme data. At that time, 23andme tested at least twice more SNPs than current generation tests.
My parents tested with MyHeritage only, which is a current generation test. Most of the users that you will see posting also got their results from the current generation of autosomal tests.
I can also share my results from the current generation, LivingDNA, which tests a similar number of SNPs as MyHeritage and 23andme v5.

Thank you for posting that, Ion. Yes, I'm aware of the difference in SNP count but I think 78k is fine too.
Your mother is very Slavic by the way. Both your parents seem to around 2% Mongoloid roughly speaking while you are around 3% strangely enough.

You can receive both more and less quantities of things your parents have, in extreme cases you can even inherit nothing from a great-grandparent or (even more rare) a grandparent. You can also inherit more than what your family have.
That's why is important to test relatives (parents, grandparents etc), to see how your DNA compare to them.
